A new partnership bringing trusted guidance on safe, responsible AI to NASUWT members across the UK.
Teachmate and NASUWT, the teachers’ union, are partnering to give members clear, practical guidance on using AI safely in the classroom — from data protection basics to what responsible tool selection looks like in practice.
The partnership includes joint webinars, plain-English guidance documents and a member helpline pathway for AI questions. Nothing is behind a paywall: every resource is free to NASUWT members regardless of whether their school uses Teachmate.
Union-led scrutiny makes our products better. NASUWT’s workload and safeguarding experts have already shaped how we document data flows and how we explain AI outputs to parents — and that feedback loop is now formalised for the long term.
